today we had cg appreciation day/ new year party! basically went to huimin's house and have some games and food. haha we played win, lose or draw and some guessing of song title game and treasure hunt. lol suppose to get 5 strands of hair, 5 10c coins, 4 watches, a necklace and an mp3 plus some stuff i forget... haiz sadly we lost coz no one wanted to pluck their hair. so sad...
anyway today is the time for me to make my new year resolution with just less than 3h to new year.
Spiritual life
1. read the Bible at least 3 more times (till now i think i barely read finish it once)
2. daily devotion and prayer once a day with at least 15min when i start and slowly increasing to an hr as the year goes by. ( one of the resolutions i made that nv came to pass this yr. but i believe this year it will. must be disciplined)
3. go into either usher ministry or children's church ministry (serve the ppl. haha love the small kids lol)
Family and friends
1. able to find a buddy that u can speak to no matter what the issue is. (new class le hope can find a good friend there)
2. spend more time with my family ( this yr i hardly spent one day a week with my family... got trng and studies haiz)
3. be able to open up my feelings to other ppl (sshh i managed to hide most of my feelings this yr... no one knows not even my parents.)
Emotional and personal growth.
1. be more sensitive to ppl's needs ( cannot be so 'dao' anymore)
2. be more tolerant to advice
3. learn how to play a guitar (one of this yr's resolution i failed to complete)
Health
1. 25 pull ups by june ( i think the last time i went gym was in sept... feeling so weak now)
2. 4.8km in under 20min (must start running every morn when sch reopens)
3. 2.4 km in 9min30s by june
4.weight to be maintained at 60kg.( this hol gained like 5kg le)
Education
1. make sure i pass every single darn test
2. then after fulfilling (1) then to get AABB
this year was a terrible year for me in terms of spiritual life and studies. luckily i had the hol to set it right but then it also meant that this yr was more or less wasted so next yr must really buck up.

i really enjoyed this hol... with so many diff experiences like working, 2 chalets, wonderful xmas (which had like 45000 ppl attending the xmas svc hehehe like 0.0125% of singapore's population was at city harvest last weekend), meeting new frens ( like gerard, seetoh, yingwei, heidi, charise, weeqin, liqin), gathering of old frens (like roger, ivan, james, wayne), revising some sch work, finishing pw (at last), celebrating new year day later.
it is really God's will to bring me back to this ever faithful cg of mine i guess. as it was really pure coincidence that i was ushered to a seat just beside them that fateful afternoon. if not for that usher, i really dun think i can get out of this pit hole now. oh well, a new year means new beginnings and new friends. i really hope that 2007 will be a yr full of wonderful memories like this yr yet without as many huge setbacks as 2006.
PS: delirious coming to church on jan 13-14 haha how exciting
