gosh am i exhausted... i can barely walk w/o feeling the ache in my thighs and calf. that was only half a marathon and at first i thought it shld not be much of a problem ( as in not so killer). anyway the route was so screwed sia. at first for the 1st hr or so i was jogging quite happily as ppl around me were encouraging each other and joking around, furthermore the weather was nice... or so i tot. half an hr more into it, i was like going when is this gonna end... finally at the 1 1/2 hr mark i so the finish line and tot it was a little more but once again i was wrong... i saw the distance marker saying 5 more km. apparently we had to make a huge loop around kallang to get there. ok blah blah anyway after 2 grueling hrs of running with my legs cramping at the last km and my feet hot while body freezing for the last 6km, i finally made it out alive, though barely. anway so later i met up with roy and alvin who had completed slightly earlier than me and we waited for the rest and later took some photos.
oh well then after that i rushed down for prayer meeting and later prepared for huimin's birthday chalet lolz... after 2 months of prep and organisation, today was the grande finale to it all where we all get to fellowship with past and present E30 members and other friends. oh btw this was where the present came in(rmb the one i had to shop for 4h with terri, huili and peishan on fri) anyway we stayed on for the nite basically fellowshiping and having fun knowing more ppl like some new friends and all. i dun believe it man, at first we started out with uno stacko then later it was captain ball then monkey and finally the game least likely to be played in a church chalet... bluff. lolz. haha the entire thing was so fun. huimin had so many gifts sia, some were a gift in a gift lolz haha so blessed. oh yah i made 2 new friends there, amanda and daniel. they were so freaky at first glance due to their gothic outfit and all with eyeliner and black nail polish but actually they were quite nice ppl who know how to have fun and well also are considerate. i mean they were the guest and all yet they still help clear the stuff w/o anyone saying and they are super nice lah.... i shan't mention the incident here if not later i will offend others but trust me they are nice ppl. sure goes nv judge a book by it's cover.... haha
anyway another chalet tmr... gonna be fun
